Lawrence - Assisting WIRES with Orphaned Joey Rescue

At Thrive Arbor, protecting and supporting our local wildlife is a responsibility we take seriously. This morning in Lawrence, NSW, our team had the privilege of assisting WIRES volunteers in the successful rescue of an orphaned joey.

Tree works and environmental services often place us at the intersection of human activity and wildlife habitat. When situations arise where animals are injured, displaced, or orphaned, swift and professional action is critical. In this case, our equipment, site access experience, and arboricultural skills allowed WIRES carers to safely reach and recover the joey, ensuring it could be transferred into expert care as quickly as possible.

We proudly donate our time, equipment, and specialist skills whenever required to support wildlife rescue efforts across the Clarence Valley and surrounding regions. Collaborating with dedicated wildlife carers highlights the importance of responsible tree management, habitat awareness, and community cooperation in protecting native fauna.
